I checked the power level.... 75% after 27hrs ilde. there were 3 txt's from TWC Alerts, and no missed calls.

with all the reports of poor battery life on this rom I just wanted to report that I don't have this issue. infact I may flash my primary phone with this rom, as using s2u2 in conjuction with nueWifiSwitch works flawless, even with the buggy 1.1x versions of s2u2!

I'd love to get that kind of battery life. On mine I have to sip off my computer's power throughout the day to make it. I can be at 50% by noon if I don't have it plugged in in the car and charging from my computer while I work. I have it downloading from three IMAP accounts (15, 30, and 60 minutes each) and Exchange push. I run SPB Mobile Shell and SPB Pocket Plus in the background, and that's about it for what's always running. My wife, meanwhile, gets amazing battery life. Maybe I should try changing to manual-only for my e-mail and see how big a difference it makes. Then again, I get my extended battery back today, and that always did much better for me.

a little off topic here but it's my solution to get better battery life for push email.

Although it's not really push, I have all my email accounts forwarded to my sprintpcs.com email. I then have the sprintpcs account text notification enabled. whenever i get an email from any account...I get a text message from my sprint email, informing me to manually check on the phone. This solution gives me the ability to always know when a new email has arrived, as well as disabling the evdo when i'm done using it. thus...saving battery life.

Only reason i can think of as to why this wouldn't be the best solution for everyone, is if u can't pinpoint by the sender, (which is included in the text message u get from your sprintpcs email account) u don't know exactly which account to check when a new email has arrived. but a minor workaround, would be to jus check them all.

a trick i've been using for years even since i had a flip phone (and i'm now finally deciding to share) that most people probably aren't aware of. but i have seen some using the same method.

yeah, i've been feeling this effect across the site as a whole all summer... it's strange for it to be so quite.

There has not been a new build for a while. The pre-release builds seem to have too many problems for some of us (myself included). I am waiting on a stable build to move back to the No2chem Roms. Last one I liked was the 5067-k. With the Today screen glitches, I stopped using the pre-releases and dropped back to WM5 with Sampsons with BT/GPS.

Ya, I don't really think anyone is on a no2chem release right now.. it's been quite a while since a new one has come out and the past ones were very buggy... we're all just chillin' waitin' for something new to play with.

I can see throwing on a dcd ROM or something but WM5? WTF?! You serious?

i was using that rom too. i'm now back on pre 7 but the speed of that wm5 rom...is very comparable to no2's pre releases.

just wait until Sprint drops their email and you will no longer have that option...
