Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge General Discussion Thread

well I had to post here, the first reply post in the report thread called it a bug,

nueLock disables the hardware end button.

I want (need) it to be this way. hate waiting on hold forever only to bump the button and lose the call. what do others think?

Till then keep testing with the 'measley' 26~27 mb you get at startup...
I was able to change the pagepool on mine to 8, I didnt try any other amounts, but it worked and flashed fine for me.

Not looking forward to doing that again...
just go into nuefonts and change all to tahoma, dont change size, problem solved for me

Generally the purpose of a keylock is to prevent pocket dialing when the phone is NOT in use, not to prevent accidental button presses when it IS. So that would be the point of the key lock not locking the key you requested. I'm unaware of any key locks that lock the keys while you're actively using the phone, but I may be missing something.

That said, your idea DOES actually sound pretty interesting, and could be a useful new type of function in addition to what a lock is usually used for. I could see myself using it on occasion.

Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge General Discussion Thread

I saw other posts about not being able to sync with Mail2web. I'm not sure if this is a mail2web problem, or pre8 problem. I was running 5060 this morning, and syncing with Mail2web with no problem this morning. I loaded pre8 today, and after setting up Activesync with mail2web settings (as I have done after each ROM flash), for the first time I am not able to make a successful sync connection with Mail2web. I'm going to keep playing with it, but thought I'd post since I saw others reporting similar issues in connection with Pre8. Jeff
