Titan GPS Setup!.. locks in 5 seconds..

I currently have Radio 4.42.30 installed.. I also had 3.42.02 prior too but did not see any significant change in GPS Locking.. Finally I found a set up that best suits me.. Try this..

Install Titan Radio 3.42.30..

If you have problem flashing from SD card then follow these steps:
1. Download NueSPL2.47[Newest Release]
2. Back up your files on you mSD card to your PC
3. Extrac and place NueSPL2.7.exe on your SD card
4. Run it.. this program will format your SD card to enable flashing from SD [if its not already formatted CORRECTLY]
5. NueSPL will place the BOOTLOADER file onto your SD card and name TITAIMG.nbh... Let it run.. it will now update your Hard SPL to version 2.47
6. it will automatically put your phone into Bootloader mode
7. The gray screen will pop up indicating that its flashing a BOOTLOADER
8. Press the power button when prompt to start flashing after it finishes.. allow NueSPL2.47 to clean up..
9. your phone will restart..
10. Place RADIO named TITAIMG.nbh onto your SD card
11. put your phon into bootloader mode by pressing POWER+CAMERA+RESET buttons
12. Bootloader should now recognize TITAIMG.nbh as CDMA not Bootloader..
LET IT RUN AND YOU'RE DONE!

Intall AstroGPS if you have TomTom7 or iguidance.. I use the TomTom launcher.. Huge difference..

This is My set up.. I didnt notice a big changes before I applied the GPS FIX.. Now my GPS locks within 5 seconds.. Good luck..

As the article says, do not do the titan gps fix if you are on sprint. If you are on sprint you should have been getting 5 second gps locks for a while, if not you need to update your PRI file to a 2.xx PRI - these are available in the extrom of various gps roms sprint has released and I have a post if you search. I have found that 2.04 (from official leaked rom) does not work properly and highly recommend either 2.00 or 2.03 (from 3.35 and 3.49 beta roms respectively). I have a post with 2.03 cab and instructions attached if you search for pri update if you need it.... Sprint has an AGPS server which the PRI update enables access to and no other fixes are required (although 3.42.02 radio may provide better gps reception - it appears to but may be placebo - the PRI is most important).

Yeah, just install this like Sprint actually intended, lol.

This is from the 3.56 ROM. This new PRI works great for me. I think the people having problems are running different ROM's or something.
