This VZW version seems to be lacking a number of features...iPhone lock, large start menu...and still has the Sprint file icons

Is this the VZW version you meant to post a link to?

Can you tell me what its lacking? Because I believe I changed some things in the Verizon version because it was someone who asked me personally for a Verizon version and asked for a couple changes.. Could you name what you know?

I recall noticing that the iLock was missing, the large menu feature seemed to be missing...the screen formatting seemed off at the top of the screen (it was like the top of the screen was slightly lowered a sliver) The sprint options and icons were still there.

The lowered screen.. supposed to be there its a battery meter
iLock.. Hmm i think that was taken out and so was the large start menu.. atleast i know quick menu isnt there anymore

So, given the Sprint ROM works pretty well for me, I think I will stay with that--however, I have a little MMS issue that I would like your feedback about.

Text messaging works fine. MMS won't go out and I am getting the message: "Originator address not found." What would you suggest I do in order to fix it?

I installed the Arcsoft CAB, but there has been no change. I changed the carrier setting in MMS options to My ISP, since there was no VZW listed and that didn't do any good, in fact under that setting it won't even try to send the MMS.

Someone mentioned installing a carrier CAB (DCD's) in another thread? It was also suggested I find a HTC_Guardian file??

Thank you for your support.

As far as the MMS issue goes I installed the DCD carrier customization CAB, the HTC_Gaurdian CAB, and was still unable to get MMS pics & messages to go out.

I did a bit more research and found that there is a place in the registry where you have to enter your phone number. Because mine was not there, I was getting the "originator address not found" message.

Now everything is working. All of the backed up messages went out at the same time--which was funny at the time...a bit awkward.

Once again, thank you for your help.

Dette...I am still interested in flashing to a ROM you have designed for VZW users, if you find one that is similar to the awesome Sprint ROM you have put together.
