Re: Verizon MMS

Ga Medic, you can go into the registry and delete the Arcsoft KEY, The entire KEY and everything under it.... Then install this cab.... However - one thing that I have noticed that is not functioning correctly is when you view an MMS picture and you click the Menu, then forward, it does not work right... I'm going to IM the guy who made that cab, and we'll see what we can work out to "fix" that issue..... Here's the original post over at XDA for this cab....

Re: Verizon MMS

on a different topic but with verizon MMS, anyone have problems where they dont get a MMS for a while, a day or so, or dont get them at all sometimes. I get them from most people but my wife's phone sometimes say incomplete on her phone or come a day later. They are "sent" just not getting to my phone. My father gets them and has the same phone, maybe its my "newer" radio (he has the original non-gps radio, i have 3.39). Sometimes if i send myself an MMS, it "pushes" through the others. kinda annoying. Anyone with similar issues?

WinRAR can decompress .cab files therefore it will show it with a RAR icon but it's still a cab file. No worries...

So far, this has worked for me. I had MMS built into my 5067 ROM but this cab installed the new MMS just fine. All I had to do was change the MMS server setting to connect via Verizon Wireless. After the install it was set to connect via the Internet. The first MMS I tried to send failed. I have been able to send and receive with the new connection setting.

Re: Verizon MMS

Ok it seems to be receiving fine. If I open a message (MMS) and click forwarm it just goes to the inbox screen instead of forwarding.

Re: Verizon MMS

Well, as of right now, since I had to actually work all day.... All I had time for was to get 2 reg dumps, one with GC MMS that has the forwarding issue, and another that works fine using 2 MMs cabs that end up at the same end version, that doesn't have the issue...... so when I get time tomorrow, which I should, I will get with GC to make a new cab that will work fine. Keep in mind that any ROM with AKU 1.2.0 has an issue where a SENT mms will NOT be threaded.... It will goto the sent folder but not in the main thread... WEIRD issue that I can't solve....
