Re: Evdo?
I had a seconded 6800 handy that I could compare every little thing to and if it wasn't right I would match it.
So that is why I do not know what I changed off of the top of my head. Try the Security setting in EPST and what are the 2 URL Values? |

Re: Evdo?
If by modded, you mean cloned, there's your problem right there. Since it says 2=Failed Authentication, it means your evdo isn't authenticating, and the hdr login and pw for authenticating it, doesn't match the esn. If it isn't a cloned phone, then maybe your setting got messed up somehow. Try to run iota (Settings > Phone > Internet)

Re: Evdo?
Well, I got it fixed!
It was easy, but it was time consuming. I had to talk to 5 support people over a period of 48 hours. Each one slightly smarter than the previous. First person didn't know anything. Second just re provisioned. Third re provisioned and tried to find more info on it. Fourth re provisioned and told me possible problems. 5th told me how to hard reset by dialing ##786# and reset everything. He also gave me a cheaper internet plan somehow, he was very knowledgeable. It didn't help that some of the times I was on no2chem's rom and couldn't dial the numbers to change settings also. But now I know how to do everything. I could be a Sprint HTC Mogul tech support now |

All the settings are in EPST that need to be edited. I am on US Cellular though. All the settings will be different between carriers. I was going by some screen shots that I found here I believe were for Sprint. That is what was messing me up. Last edited by President Fluid; 07-04-2008 at 04:00 PM. |

Re: Evdo?
If he did a reset by ##786# (##RTN#), you just go to that, then click on menu at the bottom right, then click on reset...and you'll have to enter you msl/spc....it'll wipe out your phone's life memory, mdn, msid,........pretty much all the stuff edited in EPST and it'll do a hard reset
