Sprint ROM (3.56.651.0, radio 3.42.02) MSVC
 

IT seems that MSVC does not work with this new rom with incoming annoc. 1.60463.00 will not annoc. but will not freeze unit. Newer version I have read 1.6.17913 will freeze when you go to settings. Newer versions are not on the market for purchase yet so It appears we are stuck again by MS for not updating and putting on online stores for purchase.

Have no idea what you're on about. Might want to be a bit clearer with your problem report. Having no idea what an 'annoc' is, I can't say that they are failing to work for me.

With new rom Microsoft Voice Command will not work because of windows 6.1. Windows has not updated it to work properly to work on this Mogul. Their are several version all 1.6 that will cause the phone to freeze if you want incoming to be annouced.

I think his confusion was that "annoc." is not, as far as I'm aware, a proper abbreviation of "announce." Plus it's only a few more letters, so not that hard to type out.

Anyway, 1.60463.00 isn't remotely the current version of MSVC. MS has updated it multiple times since then to address 6.1 issues. 1.6.19209 is what I'm running.

MSVC_US_PPC-1.6.19209 worked fine on mine. Incoming calls, emails, and calendar annoucements. Worked on DCD3.2.0 as well.

1.6.19209 works perfectly for me with 3.56, except that it will not read incoming text messages. it will announce incoming calls and calendar reminders. i had it working briefly, but then it went silent again (yes i've soft reset, unchecked only high priority, every different setting tried everything a million times.... it just won't work with my hardware for whatever reason)

I understand what you are saying and see exactly the same thing -- I don't see a solution yet with the stock 3.56 ROM.

Ah, that clears things up. I saw it as MS Visual C which made no sense at all.

Out of habit, I disable the voice recording button immediately after a reflash, but now I may have to undo that and test too.

Updated MIcrosoft Voice Command to 1.6.19209 has worked well this weekend as liitle as it has been used , this work week will be the test with the amount of calls, reminders, and calendar.
