Hi, I have run into this same issue after installing this cab. Have you heard from anyone else? Thanks, Gthomp

FYI you shouldn't post this here as this is considered pirated software.... Mods have removed this file in the past and asked people not to post this...

Re: Sprint ROM (3.56.651.0, radio 3.42.02) MSVC

I am having just one problem in trying to implement the instructions you gave here to update the licensed MSVC 1.6 I purchased through Handango.

I copied the cpl file to the windows directory on the Sprint Touch, then copied the rest into the Program Files \ Voice Command folder. All files copied fine, except for one:
vcbthag.dll. It says there has been a sharing violation; the source or destination file may be in use.

In an attempt to solve this problem, I went into settings and disabled voice command (by un-checking the 'enabled' box), then did a soft reset. Then checked to make sure voice command was still not enabled. But it still comes up as a sharing violation, that the file might be in use.
Any ideas of why it refuses to copy over to the Sprint Touch just that one vcbthag.dll file ? Any chance of it working WITHOUT that updated file?
Thanks...

When I open the Voice Comand settings, it says the version is 1.60.4622.0, which does doesn't quite match the version number formats above. Is this version new enough to work with WM6.1? I bought mine from Handango back in April. If not, can one download a "legal" update? I didn't seem to find one on Microsoft's website.

Thanks!

anyone know of any "legal" routes to get msvc to work with wm6.1?

if I must seek a cracked file how illegal is theat if I have a non-functioning legal copy right now.

Has anyone used the previously posted illegal version with luck?
