Re: New 3.56 ROM Poll
Actually, this upgrade was the easiest by far. I had 0 problems other than being unorganized in finding cabs to reinstall.
Thanks to Quantumforce1 for "An Easy Guide to Upgrading ". I didn't need any of the settings from ##778# but I am glad that I had them. I guess because I came from the test rom right before this the phone didn't have any problems finding the settings...??? Donna |

Re: New 3.56 ROM Poll
There is a very good reason for this:
"I have yet to get GPS working with Google Maps since flashing this to my Mogul. Google Maps keeps telling me my phone doesn't seem to be compatible with the My Location feature like it used to before I flashed to the last ROM with Rev A and GPS. Any suggestions?" Sprint's Mogul uses AGPS which connects to the cell towers for location information. You have to make sure that you have a data connection before using Google Maps. Once you do, you have to check "Use GPS". Once you have checked that you can click on "my location" and see where you are. Well actually you could just look around but......if you want to know your coordinates, that is how to do it Donna |

Re: New 3.56 ROM Poll
The only work around was with MSVC, but one big issuie. SEems that this is a battery killer. No programs running except MSVC, very little on phone less than normal, no internet, no GPS,and I was at 20% in 8 hours. Usually more phone some GPS , internet, and email and I would be at 70% in 8 hours. No beams either.
