Unhappy No sound after soft reset?!

I have USCC and did the Upgrade Guide here for GPS. Have used the 5060, 5067 and the Titan 3.49 form BuildOS. Radio 3.35

Everything has gone as good as it can get.

After installing cab's and stuff I have to soft reset and all my sound goes away along with my mic for the phone. Everything is silent.

Only a hard reset will bring back the sound.

So setting up my phone is pointless at this moment cause if it soft resets BANG no sound.

I thought it was other programs that were conflicting but I am not sure any more.

I even did a Blank build with each of the aforementioned Kitchen's (did not select anything) and after cooking and flashing sound worked. But after a soft reset no sound at all.

I have been up till 4 am the past 4 days and I am on my 20th build and nothing is making this problem go away.

Every thing that I have read has looked like it was resolved with a Soft reset....

I really want GPS and my carrier is not releasing the ROM update with it enabled. I am stuck with them with 5 lines till December of '09. So going to a different carrier at the moment is not an option for me and who knows if they will ever release a GPS enabled device.
I am wondering if this was even worth it. Is it?
