OK, maybe that was a bit harsh -- but seriously if you don't really understand the concept maybe you shouldn't be mucking around with the rom, and just stick to cab installs.
lol you guys take things so literally. It's a good thing i didn't say it was gay. You guys would have said "NO IT'S NOT, THERE ARE NO RAINBOWS ANYWHERE."

Anyhow, thanks for the responses guys. I'll cook the cabs into the autoinstallers from now on.

On another note, has anyone else noticed how freakin slow 6.1 threaded SMS is compared to cody's version? When you send a message it takes forever to update. Even just loading a message takes a long time. The only thing i like better about 6.1's version is that it's integrated into the standard messaging...so you can import/export/save your texts.

Re: How do I remove programs that were autoinstalled by kitchen?

codys threaded sms is much much better imho. i have the same slow problem with the 6.1 txting. i type much faster than it can produce the letters on the screen. very frustrating, especially as much as i text....maybe ill try the kitchen 3.49....im still running vetvito's black pill

Might be stupid. But hey, U get what u pay for. Also if ya like it i believe u can install seperately since people have been leaving cabs from other phone strewn all about this place...

Re: How do I remove programs that were autoinstalled by kitchen?

This is the way kitchens work. It builds the applications in as thought they came standard. If you're going to want to upgrade a specific application, then that's the sort of application you should avoid building in and instead install it manually. This is normal.

Re: How do I remove programs that were autoinstalled by kitchen?

i agree with the above poster, something that updates almost weekly isnt something you should cook through a kitchen unless you like to flash alot (like me!!!) but would work using UC or doing it yourself
