Flashing bootloader from SD? Help!

Hey guys, is there any reason why you wouldn't be able to flash the bootloader from a microSD card?

When you put the OS image on the card, it boots up and says "TITAIMG.nbh - OS", when you put the radio image on the card, it boots up and says "TITAIMG.nbh - CDMA", and when you put the bootloader image on the card, it boots up and says "TITAIMG.nbh - BOOTLOADER".

However, both the OS and radio flash properly using the method, however, when I try to flash SPL 2.40, it doesn't seem to take. When I reboot into the bootloader, I'm still on SPL 1.20.

My latest Titan stopped working, so I pulled out this old one with a bent pin in the USB connector, so I got it to charge, but I can't hook it to a computer. I'm trying to get it updated and the bootloader is the only problem I'm having.

Any ideas?
