Re: How many times to you Reflash?

Been too busy, *and* HTC roms have been "good enough", so I have reflashed the refurb mogul I got in exchange for my dead 6700 at the beginning of the year exactly twice - both to stock HTC/Sprint roms.

Not sure what's keeping me from building a custom rom like I did with the 6700, except time (none) and reasonably good performance of the stock rom.

I also have a AT&T based Kaiser sitting here in the same state - running stock rom, working well enough to ignore for now.

Look in your build status window...close to the end you'll find "Build xxx completed"

approx 10,000 flashes...it's unlikely you'll wear it out during it's lifetime.

Re: How many times to you Reflash?

There hasn't been a kitchen update in any of the major 3 devices (Apache, Titan and Vogue) for over a 10 days... I haven't reflashed in over a week...

I think I'm beginning to have withdrawal symptoms...

Re: How many times to you Reflash?

I am an addict...I seriously can't remember how many times I've flashed my phone...That commercial w/ the guy typing on his phone while he is sleeping hits way to close to home...That is totally me after a new flash.

Re: How many times to you Reflash?

I currently have two Moguls. One is used for testing (bought it broken, fixed a keyboard problem and replaced the LCD), and the other one for everyday use (bought refurbished). This way I'm never out of service, or have an unreliable phone.

When I get the test phone operating properly on a ROM, and all functions work (I put it online and use it hard for at least a week), I upgrade the primary phone.

The test phone is currently running a kitchen made 3.49 ROM, with a 3.35 radio. The primary is running a 3.35 stock ROM.

I couldn't get the 3.35 kitchen ROM to run stable with the applications I wanted, so I went to the 3.49. So far, no problems, and I've tweaked (application wise) it 6-times so far.

I haven't tried the DCD or No2chem ROMs, yet.... Nor have I loaded the latest radio. Once I have the 3.49 tested, I'll upgrade the primary phone, and load the latest radio on the test phone.

Total flashes so far, 43.......

Re: How many times to you Reflash?

I have flashed my 6800 for every update from DCD (November - January), and every updated for N2C (February - until today). I haven't counted, but if I were to guess, I'd say 40 times or so. Changed radios I think 5 or 6 times....
