Extended ROM after flashing???

I flashed No2Chem 5067 and ended up going back to 5060 because I could not get the data connection to work.

Any ways.... after loading a custom ROM, I now have the main storage at 170MB, and an extended 9MB ROM. What the heck is it, and should I care?
Yep, I'm a noob.

I have a PPC-6800, my carrier is ACS.
