Windows Mobbile 6.1 and .doc format!!

Is it true that the new ROM with WM 6.1, for those who upgraded to ROM 3.49, does not save the Word document except in the .docx format?!!!

this could be true, 6.1 has supposed outlook 2007 support. (.docx is 2007 word format)

You can choose to save it in either format.

Menu-->tools-->options-->default template

Well, I don't know if it is a kitchen add-on, a result of the pre-release 6.1 ROMs, or what, but currently you can do it without any issue.

thanks, i was never aware you could change the default doc template!

I am running the leaked 3.49 ROM and it can save it as .doc or .docx by changing the template as bedoig shows.

I don't see why they would change it in the "official one"

Otherwise everyone would stick with the leaked one...
