You sure this is the "the one with call history and full contact list"? I thought 2.5 was just the usual smartdial where it starts suggesting contacts only when you start to dial or type a name out. The kitchen HAS 2.5 in it already, and that seems to be just the basic smartdial.

Just looked at the "about" section under my smartdialing options and it shows me as already having smartdial 2.5, but no scrolling smartdial. Is the shaps advanced config needed to turn this feature on, and is there a cab for that so I dont have to recook?

The one in that thread is the one you are looking for. I'm using it right now. It might be labled wrong or something.

Yea....uninstall the dialer you have now, reboot, install the 2.5 dialer mentioned above, reboot, then use the Schaps tool, set the phoneskin to disable, reboot, then you should be golden, it worked for me.
