i guessed radio, when it was actually bootloader...
hey even house is wr0ng sometimes... but the reset problem is usually mismatch between

bootloader
OS Rom

And of course the post usually starts with "I just flashed [insert OS ROM] and now my phone is reseting..."

Ive been tempted to flash 5067, in fact ive even built the OS ROM - but i haven't yet flashed it, i keep rebuilding it and changing it around, adding / removing stuff... then i see something posted that may be a problem, and i wonder should i just wait for the next update, i mean everything is working great on 5060 but i would love the extra RAM that 5067 offers... maybe tomorrow since i dont hafta work

haha....exactly what I was doing......I would read a post about a mismatch of two programs so I would go back and take one out before flashing. lol.....but, the only rom I have flashed is dcd's and it could be (most likely) I didn't do something right so it seemed to be unstable for me. I flashed/cooked(?) this one and it is the coolest thing.....for once I'm getting real excited about this phone lol.....I don't blame you for hesitating as you have something you like....but, what the heck....I would like to get mine stable for at least a couple of weeks where I can really enjoy it and learn the programs so I know more about what I like/don't like. This is the coolest thing I have done so far with it and I thank you again for your help.....take care....Rick

Everything still works Great. However, when I still try and go to settings under the start menu, it freezes. I've hard reset numerous times, and I'm 100% certain now that I flashed correctly. Any Ideas? Thanks

what version of Voice Command are you using?

How I Got Microsoft Voice Command v1.6 running on No2chem’s 5067:

I have been having lots of trouble with MSVC running on 5067. Thanks to mikee4fun for the MSVC v1.6.19209 Files.zip and the lead to “MSVC v1.17913” CAB file here’s how I got MSVC to run without any hic-cups on 5067…

• Download the zip file provided by mikee4fun MSVC v1.6.19209 FIies.zip (see post #785 – Page 79) and unzipp and put them on your device in a separate folder off of “My Documents” - Call it MSVC files
• Install MSVC v1.17913 (see post #365, Page 37) onto the device.
• Stay away from going into SETTINGS (important! if you do you get caught in a loop!)
• Do a SOFTboot
• Go into Windows root and create a NEW folder: StartUpH
• Go into: Windows\StartUp folder and CUT the “Voice Command” file and PASTE it into: Windows\StartUpH folder
• Do a Soft BOOT
• Go into: Program Files\Voice Command folder and RENAME the “vcbthag” file to vcbthagX (Secure file work around)
• Go to My Documents\ MSVC files and CUT: VoiceCommand_PPC.cpl and PASTE it into the Windows root.
• Go back to: My Documents\MSVC files folder. COPY all of the rest of the files and PASTE them into: Program Files\Voice Command folder. (tap “Yes” if prompted to replace/overwrite).
• Go back to Windows\StartUpH and CUT the “Voice Command” file and PASTE it back to: Windows\StartUp
• Do a SOFT reboot
• Presto… Microsoft Voice Command should work great with the new files (now at the newer version 1.6.19209)

No2chem’s 5067 is GREAT! =D> Thanks No2chem and mikee4fun for all the help!

Now for the expert PPC Geeks:
I cooked up a rom in the kitchen (is this the correct terminology) for the first time and it was successful. Yahoo...very good instructions. I found that some of the programs I tried I would like to remove. So, am I thinking correctly in that I would have to cook up a new rom and just not include those programs? I tried to do that and also deleted buildos and re-downloaded it but it didn't have no2's 5067 in it. So once again, a noob asking for help.

When BuildOS runs it asks if you want to update. If for some reason it doesn't, you can choose to update from your computer's start menu.

Start>Programs>PPCKitchen>Updater

Good evening everyone... I just flashed my Mogul with the latest no2chem 5067 kitchen, which appearently went all well. Now I just can't get over the setup screen... As soon as I calibrate it freezes on the date and time screen... I connect it to my computer and now it doesn't even read it (gives me unkown usb) any suggestions?

Try this: press camera + power + soft reset (this will put you in bootloader)
Then ignore activesync and all instructions that reference activesync
Then Re-cook and Re-flash, if that fails - post your selections.txt

Sorry for asking but by re-cook and re-flash would be to use unlocker then the radio? Thank You for your quick response
