Stuck in TITAN Bootloader? titan_exitbl.exe doesn't work.

Here's what my bootloader screen looks like:

RUUNBH
TITA100 MFG
SPL-2.40.Olipro
CPLD-9

USB

I started with the New "Official" Sprint ROM (3.49, radio 3.39.10) installed.
Then I installed the 2.40 bootloader.
I got the confirmation that the bootloader had installed correctly.
Stuck in the screen, so trying to use titan_exitbl.exe
Vista x64.

Disabled USB connections in WMDC.
Killed wmdc.exe in task manager. (wcescomm.exe and wcesmgr.exe aren't running).
Plug in the USB cable, the Mogul shows up in Device Manager.

Click on titan_exitbl.exe

Cannot open USB port. Please make sure, that USB connection in ActiveSync is disabled.... etc.

What am I doing wrong???

I don't have one. I've tried on both Vista 32 and 64 bit.

Just pick a rom and flash it......if it does not work from PC then do this....

use SD card.
rename signed_RUU.nbh with TITAIMG.nbh, copy to SD,
insert SD card, put in bootload mode (power+camera+reset)....... also make sure it is formatted at FAT32

Re: Stuck in TITAN Bootloader? titan_exitbl.exe doesn't work.

I am having a similar problem is someone can help. I have tried all the things above and I am using XP machines, but can't get the exit bootloader to work (Unable to communicate thru USB port error)

So I have followed the directions on trying to flash using the SD card. I have a 2 gig that I flashed to FAT32, pulled out the RUU_Signed.nhb and renamed it to "titaimg.nbh" and placed it on the root of the SD card.

I put the SD card in, and I press Power + Camera and hit Reset on bottom. The device resets, flashes a quick "Loading....." but then it immediatly says "No Image File...." or something to that effect.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Re: Stuck in TITAN Bootloader? titan_exitbl.exe doesn't work.

Had the same problem ; just solved it; ran the exit bootloader on my desktop runnig on XP rather than the laptop on Vista ... ran first time like a charm naturally after disabling the activeSync programs on the task manager, application tabs and the services.vsc

Good luck
