Re: Titan 3.49 Kitchen

Evening all,

Dont know if any VZW users have tried to use this kitchen but I wanted to let you know that I have and its working just fine.

One minor issue. I cannot seem to unlock the extrom properly to wipe it clean. I am using NueExtRom app in the kitchen. It tells me to soft reset, and once I do I cannot delete a single file. Am I doing something wrong in the build? Second when I run a second build I get an error message, but can say ok and the build moves on. Its attached in this msg.

Thanks,
Steve

The thanks for hard work is much appreciated, and as many of the people involved in the kitchen have donated THOUSANDS of hours, a donation would really be the best way to say 'thank you'

Suggestions?
If the extended ROM is unlocked it is probably seeing that instead of the card. I had to lock the extended to be able to use the card for email storage.

What did you use to unlock and lock the extrom? Did you remove everything from the extrom? Can you automate the unlock and lock through the flash process?

Thanks- relocking extRom worked. Now, if I could just get Wireless Sync working for more than an hour or two after flash and install, I'd be very pleased.

Re: Titan 3.49 Kitchen

Is there a way to edit an OEM that I created with OEMizer? I made a mistake in setting up my email and didn't want to create a new one. Guess I am getting lazy.

Not true, Steve!

I have Verizon, and I can't do two things:

1) Internet Sharing no longer works. Verizon pops up a screen asking me to subscribe to their tethering service.
2) If that wasn't bad enough (and boy, it's bad!), I can't seem to flash back to my old 3.35 ROM! When I tried to flash my phone back to my No2Chem 5060 ROM, my Titan was permanently stuck in the boot-up screen.

Another problem: I installed the "iBliss" phone pad, and it is acting really goofy now. SmartDial doesn't appear anymore, but my Phone Contact list appears in the middle of the keypad, with no way to make it go away.

If I knew this might be a one-way street, I would never have flashed this ROM until it had a little more road-testing ...

Sigh.
