Re: Titan 3.49 Kitchen

I do believe there is a selection for easy cab installs in the kitchen.

Re: Titan 3.49 Kitchen

I think I know why this is a leaked and therefore non-released ROM. I have flashed it several times, including the kitchen, and it has been a hot mess every time. Constant unpredictable freezes, and multiple hard resets have not helped. Worst part is, I can't reflash now because it won't let me into settings to fix the ever present activesync problem related to the "advanced network functionality" checkbox. Guess I will be learning to flash from my card now!

If you are having issues this severe, it is probably stuff you are putting in the rom. It has been noted several times in multiple places that some apps will not work with these roms and they can cause some major issues.

Now, if you need to flash, just put the phone in bootloader and start the RUU.

Re: Titan 3.49 Kitchen

thinking must not be a strong suit, have you tried getting your phone replaced? I've never had trouble with activestink that reboot pc/soft reset ppc didn't fix.

Re: Titan 3.49 Kitchen

Well I decided to reflash for a few good reasons. I really like the slide 2 unlock alternative. It's a lot lighter and to the point. The custom themes are cool also. My rom is running fine. Whatever they did on Sprint Nav is just awesome! No more waiting for GPS to load. I can't wait for the dialer fix. I really like the RAF black and silver.

Re: Titan 3.49 Kitchen

@colonel-

I've tried several combos of kitchen things with similar results, but other kitchens worked fine. This isn't a reflection on the work done here, I have had great success up until 3.49, so it very well could be the phone, but that doesn't explain why it worked fine with others. thanks for the bootlaoder reminder, I forgot that was possible.

@shaggy

Thanks, but I think fine. And my local sprint store has to have them in stock before I can replace, which will be next week as i found out this morning. FWIW, with the mogul I have ALWAYS had to uncheck the advanced networking thing, regardless of stock rom, someone else's custom, or my own kitchen rom. Must have something to do with my work laptop, but I have no choice about that.

yea, sorry couldn't resist. I would guess its your laptop, if you don't have control over it, well you don't have control.

Re: Titan 3.49 Kitchen

No sweat. Can't remember if the activesync thing was an issue with my apache or not, but it has always been there with the mogul.

So if anyone has ever wanted to try something with their mogul, but didn't because it might destroy it, let me know, as I will be treating this one very poorly over the weekend until my new one arrives, kind of like hillhopping with a rental car. I wonder if I can overclock it to 3ghz, or if I can make the ringtones louder by connecting it directly to my car battery... what to do... what to do...

Re: Titan 3.49 Kitchen

Just flashed this ROM built from the Kitchen.
It seems snappy and good memory.
Couple of problems here.
1. Contact will not open. The title bar says contacts then dissappears and thats all
2. There has been some dialer discussion here. I didn't select any dialer, so the OEM dialer has installed. I chose HTC smart dialing but it is not present on the phone. I installed the mogul big button dialer which brought back smart dialing but the icons are missing.

Attached my selections from kitchen.
Any ideas?
