Verizon: Radio 3.3x on xv6800 and *228 doesn't work

Did not do the DMU thing yet. Still trying to figure out how to get it so I have no triangle and so instead of "Preferred Network" it says "Verizon". I loaded the PRL from the link you sent and I also did the ERI.

The phone itself is a verizon original but even so, when I tried to run RadioRefurbish on the phone through resco, I couldn't get it to run when I clicked on "Done".

Anybody got this figure out? I get the same problem. Triangle but still no data connection.

I was able to do a *228 option 1 though.

Is this a simple problem with an a-key? When I went to stock after the failed 3.1.1 and 3.27 radio, I got a woman saying I had an auth error and to dial #8899. Called vzw and they gave me an a-key which fixed incoming and outgoing calls.

umm, mistmatching radios and roms people! the no sound on 3.1.x was because it needs a 3.3x radio, not 3.27. 3.37 is not compatible with 3.0.4 as far as i know. try radio 3.39 with ROM 3.1.2, that should fix your problems. *a thing to note: you cannot open EPST with ROM 3.1.2, imma go check if DCD came up for a fix for this.*

This dmu key is only needed if are crossing carriers to VZW (data will not work without it) or possibly if you sprintized a vzw phone by letting the sprint carrier cabs run and there is NO key (blank folder) when you scan the efs with bitpim or qpst in the DMU folder.
