Qwest will never release a ROM upgrade for Mogul PPC6800

About a month ago I was told that Qwest was planning to be releaseing a Qwest version of the ROM upgrade in about a month so I thought today would be a good time to call. After a long conversation I was told that they have ended their plans to release this ROM upgrade and chances are it will never get released. This is mainly due to the new contract they recently signed with Verizon. I'm guessing they are not going to do any more future planning or upgrades for any Sprint phones. I was basically told that I am stuck with the problems. When the Qwest and Sprint contracts ends sometime early next year, I will be given a choice to stay with Qwest and Verizon requiring me to purchase a new phone or I can switch to Sprint at that time.

This is yet again another example of horrible customer service on Qwest's part. Qwest knows all of us are having these problems and they just don't care. If they had good customer service they would continue with their plans to release this ROM or they could come up with some plan to give us the option to move to Sprint sooner. Or if they were really customer service oriented they could just refund me the purchase price of this phone.
