Emergency Xv6800 flashed to 3.39 radio
 

Yesterday I flashed to the Sprint ROM that had the 3.39 radio then flashed back to a NEXVision ROM and set it for the VZW....since then I have the triangle saying that I am roaming. I checked with VZW and the said I am active on the network and authenticated. It seems as if the phone is confused now and thinks its Sprint eventhough it is connecting to VZW...Anyone that can help it would be greatly appreciated.

You let the customizations run didint you?

Reflash the stock sprint ROM.
When the screen comes up that says "Touch here to setup your phone" Soft Reset your phone
Then proceed and reflash the Nex Rom.

Thanks, I just tried that and it is still roaming with "preferred network"

I believe you have to take it back to the stock VZW stuff and then go back to the Sprint Rom and soft reset before the customizations run.

not only have I not let the customizations run but i have now flashed to Nex's Roms and even built my own and I am still roaming. I can program it via *228 option 1 and 2 but I cannot use *22899 that I have always been able to use. All I do is roam at this point...it is awful.

I would check the PRL on phone now. almost sounds like it cant find the towers it needs. maybe update PRL with latest from Corolada PRL's
they are showing a 51020 with date of 3/20/08 on it.
could be wrong PRL, or could be an Akey issue possibly.

its definitely not an AKey issue, tech support said i was active on the network yesterday with no issues. I am receiving data and can make calls but it is all in a "roaming capacity" if it is a PRL issue, what can I do?

well you could change the PRL and see what effect it has. see if the ##PRL# works with your dialer (##775#) then input your MSL to go into edit mode. from there you can edit PRL, browse to new one, then ok your way out and it will update it and reset phone. sometimes just going into EPST and re-adding MDN and MSID will fix issues like that too.

edit- Device Information on phone will show what existing PRL is.

##775# goes to VZW and says that my call can't be completed as dialed. I have the newest version as was stated above.

damnit, verizon. try ##775 Talk button...that might work. but if its latest prl already...maybe the MDN/MSID refresh would help.
