Sound that I can get rid of *SOLVED*

Ok so I've had a custom ROM for about the last three months and about every month I have to change it because of the same problem.
The problem is that I get this annoying sound that beeps right when I hit the button to initiate a call. It starts when I'm roaming, but then even after I get back into a service area it continues. The only solution is put another ROM on the phone. Here's the thing though, it doesn't beep like that when I have all the sounds on the phone turned off, or when I have the phone on vibrate. Only when I have the sound on does it ring. Anyone know how to get rid of this?

I have the same thing happening. Although it takes about a day or so to start up after a fresh rom. Possibly something sprint is installing on the phone over the air and is not compatible with this rom?? Can you say big brother is watching.... im just sayin....

You are the greatest! That has been driving me insane forever it always happens like 2 weeks after I put a new ROM or do a hard reset this freaking thing would kick up. Also the second one of the above on my phone was at 4 not 2.

This above solution sounds nice, but I have no clue how or where to put this path to get to the control panel. Any help for clueless?
