Re: Steaming Radio
I think this was already discussed, but anyway...
go to your web browser and type in http://tuned.mobi Click on your state and listen to your radio station of your liking. It will play in your Windows Media Player. Late, TWIN

Re: Steaming Radio
One word for you:
Shoutcast. Almost every internet radio station in existance either uses Nullsoft's shoutcast system or at least has a compatible stream. Going to shoutcast.com will actually let you search any station using this system currently playing. Streams will play in TCPMP or any player capable of the standard mp3 stream formats (coreplayer, gsplayer, pocket player, etc). Baf and I were actually working on writting an app that would pull info from Shoutcast's servers to make searching the streams more mobile friendly, and even let u save the ones you like for later reference. Its not done yet. Meanwhile, u can just go to shoutcast.com and click any stream that looks interesting to you.

Re: Steaming Radio
This has been discussed several times on multiple threads.
ALSO this really doesnt belong in the Titan Upgrade section. For Shoutcast+XM+Sirius+More check out SelectRadio For a decent streamer also check out Resco Radio. For a great site that streams local terrestrial radio stations check out www.thestreamcenter.com/pda (has everything divided by state so if you miss KROQ from LA its there etc...) Uses windows media player or Stream the world to play on your pda. Works pretty good to great depending on the stations. |

Re: Steaming Radio
I apoligize if I posted in the wrong section or am repeating threads, I've used this site for less than two weeks now, and I did a search and did not find what I was looking for. Thank you for tuned.mobi but I'm also looking for a flash player to support mainly playlist.com. Thanks again

Re: Steaming Radio
For shoutcast stations, Resco Radio is a great player. I mainly use it for playlist management but you can get this done using TCPMP but it's not as slick.

Re: Steaming Radio
Hey eehrhard,
They both must be the same. http://tuned.mobi and www.thestreamcenter.com/pda !! They look pretty much the same. tuned.mobi points you to the streamcenter website. Late, TWIN Last edited by medinatwin; 05-01-2008 at 01:45 PM. |
