How do you Mogul users get Telenav to work?????

I see on their website it still states that it needs an external GPS. Obviously that would be retarded..

I am trying to download Telenav for use with my Touches internal GPS ( the new rev a. )

It keeps looking for external GPS.

Re: How do you Mogul users get Telenav to work?????

The difference between the Mogul and the Touch will be that Sprint has released an official update to "activate" (or whatever term you want to use) the Mogul's internal GPS. There hasn't been any official (or hacked) update for the Touch yet.

Re: How do you Mogul users get Telenav to work?????

Yes I know about the Rev A.

I have it and GPS works great..
But i cannot get the telenav to work because its still looking for an external GPS..

I need some how some way to load a software where telenav will look for an INTERNAL GPS..

Thanks

Re: How do you Mogul users get Telenav to work?????

Is the Telenav from Sprint or builtin to your ROM? I am guessing that the version you have doesn't expect the Touch to have internal GPS so it is forcing you to use an external one.

You may have to wait until it is officially supported. Maybe try the Sprint Navigator download for the Mogul. I will look and see if I can find a link.

Re: How do you Mogul users get Telenav to work?????

I would never use a horrible program like google maps or live search!! They just suck..

I did get a fix for it in the touch forum.. I had to use the telenav for the att tilt..
Thanks guys

Re: How do you Mogul users get Telenav to work?????

Live Search works great, granted it does not have voice promts but what do you want for free. Directions are right on the money and it has the most up to date maps I have seen. I did use Telenav and my wife used it in Jersey and she said it was great, but you get more becuase you pay more.
