Re: Titan not receiving calls - will new ROM help?
Sounds like they have some blackberry jam in their network switch. I would try to pull the battery and then pop it back in and see what happens. Also they can reset your phone on the network. I have seen this at times before. Call up sprint from your lan line or some other phone and you can have them simply reset the phone on the network. You can also reset the programming on the phone and then re enter your msid and phone number. You may want to get help with sprint on the phone before you attempt this.
Goodluck, Mikee

Re: Titan not receiving calls - will new ROM help?
so you don't think a WM 6.1 might help as far as making the phone less "random" or whatever? I've popped the battery numerous times - I haven't re-previsioned the phone on the network yet though, that's true. Thought a new ROM might help solve the issue, that's why I posted in this sub-forum

Re: Titan not receiving calls - will new ROM help?
i had a problem similar to this, but on my xv6800. try this: dial ##778#, then edit, enter your MSL code i think it is for sprint (they have to give it to you), and under view info and modem settings, make sure the slot cycle index is set to 2, or possibly 1. anything lower or higher could be causing this. if you can access it, change the value to 2, just to test it.

Change you sci to 0, you should have no more problems afterwards. The battery drains the same for me 2 or 0. So set it to 0 cus I'm tired of getting all the calls man!!! |

Re: Titan not receiving calls - will new ROM help?
sorry for the late reply, been busy having fun with No2chem latest rom. Anywho, the reason I went with 0 was that I noticed the battery drain was about 3~5% more than on 2. I tried it on 1 and saw improvement but I would still sometimes miss calls. Tried it on 0 and has worked like a charm. I will trade in that 5% any day. So you could try 1 first, you will definitely see the difference and then you can try 0 and decide.
