Downgrading from New ROM 3.35 to test ROM 3.16

I have been using the new rom (3.35) for a few days and the battery life is TERRIBLE to say the least, even with the performance boosting registry edits. I was getting much better performance with the 3.16 test ROM.. Is it possible to downgrade back to the 3.16 test rom from the 3.35 rom or will i be stuck with a bricked phone.. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Re: Downgrading from New ROM 3.35 to test ROM 3.16

Wow.. I actually get 100x better battery life with the new Rom... Cant answer your question but to go from something that is pretty solid IMO to something I would consider Major bugged seems to me kinda silly. I would look more at what you are actually doing or loading that is killing battery life.

Re: Downgrading from New ROM 3.35 to test ROM 3.16

I was getting horrible battery life after I went to the new rom from the test rom, what worked for me was not any of the battery tweaks or any of those things but a nice slow cycling of the battery. If you want to try this set the phone to not automaticaly turn off and to leave the backlight on, let it sit till it turns itself off, then all you need to do is let it charge back up again. I think there was something a little off in the phone's reading of the battery after the rom update and this did seem to fix it... for me at least.

Re: Downgrading from New ROM 3.35 to test ROM 3.16

I'll just comment that my battery life, pre-extended battery, was extremely unstable, with one day to the next providing completely different results (I could get home at the end of the day with 70% left or 20% left with no tangible differences in my usage), and I also noticed that between flashes and hard resets I could get completely different experiences with the exact same ROM. You may wish to consider just a hard reset and see what difference that makes. It makes little sense, but it's something I've experienced.
