NEW ALLTEL ROM 3.35 is now on HTC Site!!!

I tried installing and it gives me an error before teh rom installation program fully gets started

then i unlocked the phone using the link earlier (the 123 thing)

same thing, any ideas? i've never flashed before and i'm not sure what i'm missing (yes i've done the search's)

(also in omaha!!! can't wait!)

Update on my luck:

Everything worked fine! Followed teh steps with the three cabs, location is on, set external to com 4. it took some time to get the gps to actually work, and once it did it went from 4 or 5 to zero and just updated the location, i was zoomed in on me anyway so i didn't even notice. It did reset randomly a few times, but since i've got it working it hasn't. It was right after i booted the new rom, almost like windows was installing updates in the background like on a desktop (random timing it seemed) then it never did it again.

now every time i hit google maps within seconds it updates my location, works flawlessly, now for the 4 hour task of installing all my software again......

Got it working again. I'm dumb. Forgot to turn on location. So anyone else having the problem, Dont forget to turn on the Location!!!!

My location is on. It just won't lock anymore at all. Tried many times since that first day. Not sure what the problem may be?!

I think i have gnat's problem, but i can't find teh msm7500usbfn.dll from teh sprint release (nor do i know where to look)
can someone give this to me in a cab for easy install? i havn't picked up a signal since last night (worked great then!)


EDIT: I've figured out that if you reinstall the 123 step unlock, and reinstall the 3 cabs (rebooting in between) it works again. I'm fairly new to teh handheld world, hope that helps

Further EDIT: Seems that if i use it eventually it stops working. I've had ok luck softresetting and trying again.

Well I followed all instructions and still no luck , The phone now has com4 though it just wont get a fix, it will see sats then drop them.....Might be the cloud cover??(at least thats what google maps says) Im using holux gps viewer to Monitor status. Is that .cab file updated yet Gnat>? Thanks for all the work so far.
