PPC6800 won't take the SPL 2.40

I've run through the rom update procedure several times and just can't get the phone to take the SPL 2.40. It just stays at SPL 1.20. Everything else seems to flash just fine. What am I missing? If I leave it at 1.20, the phone just keeps rebooting.

Re: PPC6800 won't take the SPL 2.40

You have to be in windows mobile to run the 2.40 unlocker, it won't work from bootloader. You'll need to flash a different rom if you can't get to the OS otherwise. Try not to flash a radio though.

Re: PPC6800 won't take the SPL 2.40

Ok, thank you. I think I may have tried that once already. If I remember correctly, after the procedure finished, the phone stayed in the bootloader mode and showed the SPL 1.20 olipro version. Then I loaded up the main, then the radio roms. Right now, the phone is back to OEM roms and working normally but I will definetelly give that a shot. Thanks again.

Re: PPC6800 won't take the SPL 2.40

Tried running SPL 2.40 while in the Windows Mobile mode. It ran through the process, then restarted in the bootloader mode and still showed version 1.20. I reinstalled the main rom to get out of the bootloader mode. Any other ideas? I'm not ready to give up yet.

Re: PPC6800 won't take the SPL 2.40

A huge thanks to Maverick351ci. He figured out what I was doing wrong. I unzipped the SPL 2.40 file and was running the "ROMUpdateUtility" instead of just leaving it zipped and running it as an exe. or at least running the 'Titanunlocker.bat" instead. A huge thanks also to ImCokeMan, Olipro, and any and all others who have contributed time, effort, and talent to these rom upgrades and utilities.
