well seeing that i can get it to load somewhat is promising...where in diego are you?

no, its the other way around. the Olipro 2.40 gives you the ability to flash "custom roms", not stock ones. you already have the new 3.35 radio...however that happened. but to flash a kitchen rom built from 3.35 base, you need the 2.40 bootloader.

every time i try to run the 2.4 spl, i get an error saying device not connected...is there something different in vista i need to be doing? ive tried allowing and not allowing usb connections in wmdc...

ya, i spent a LOT of time in Ocean Beach in the 70's...no doubt about that! used to go there to...well, never mind WHY we used to go there.

edit= ok, hardspl 2.40 needs to have OS to work properly. so you're going to have to flash something stock back to phone before you can go any further. since you already have the new radio (3.35) on it, I would try flashing STOCK 3.35 rom again, see if that works first. if it makes it to screen alignment screen, STOP and reset it then. otherwise you'll have other issues to deal with.

yea, my mom was there in the 70s...she wanted to name me poncho, so some things never left her...lol...

ne ways, i got it working, i took the battery out overnight, and ran the 2.4 rom in the am, worked fine....got everything running
