That being said, if you do have verizon, you have to do a few steps. This is all posted within very easy access if you poke around even a little.

2) Flash official new sprint rom/radio. This will put the new radio on your phone. If you have verizon, you do NOT want to let it run the customizations. Once the upgrade reaches 100% and the phone restarts, restart your phone into bootloader (hold power + camera and push soft reset button). 3) now that you're unlocked, radio upgraded, and chillin in bootloader, flash a new rom. There are many options out there. Search for dcd, no2chem, nexvision, etc. Just make sure you either download a verizon rom (assuming you have verizon), or get a 'generic' rom, that will let you choose what provider you have after the rom is loaded.

Are you saying that you cannot take an unlocked sprint mogul and put a Verizon ESN on after cracking it with the crackin6800 kit? I was hoping to take my bad ESN mogul and unlock it then out my brother Verizon's good ESN in and give it to him to use on Verizon. Am I not able to do this with the proper techniques? If not that sucks ***, because i have a perfectly good mogul with bad ESN.

You will have akey issues if you do that (clone a native vzw phone) and the phone will be reconized by the system as the type of phone the esn belongs to ie. it will get the features of a samsung a650 so you wont have a fully functional ppc. You would be better off to have him call vzw tech support and tell them its an alltel 6800 and request to have it added to the device management database (entering the esn in the system) which may take up to a week. If you do a search for using your other carriers 6700 on vzw it will show you the steps needed to get data working on vzw after the esn is input and you flashed a vzw rom or cooked vzw rom to it.

I was wondering about the akey thing, I guess i will attempt your recommendation first before i try changing the esn, I have changed the SPL already to all 0's is this ok, i never made it far enough in the cracking 6800 kit with cdma workshop because i could not figure out which port to select none of them worked, mabye a good thing..lol
