Re: Kitchen Users Poll

"May not be married for long" - there's a statement my wife can appreciate. I've had the same basic look and feel to my phone for almost a month, but between No2Chem, DCD and HTC I've burned plenty (+15 anyhow). Hey I've only had my phone about 38 days....my wife 23 years. I'm not quite sure the benefit of cooking in everything because there are just too many updates that you end of loading over stuff anyhow. Takes a few minutes to set back up from a basic config. Some people talk about it being an addiction - probably not far off. I think the major thing for me is the awsome talent supporting this community and I'd feel I wasn't paying them their due if I didn't look at what they were creating. To No2Chem, DCD, Colonel, NexVision and the whole PPCKitchen team - just look at all of the addicts you've created. We all appreciate you sharing your time and efforts!

I'm right here with ya... I need to flash again now, but I'm too lazy!

Re: Kitchen Users Poll

So far, I have cooked about 50. It took a few just to learn the process, then many to try each option, and then after upgrading things. In addition, I want a boot animation, but after trying a zillion things, I have decided that it simply won't work on Alltel. I have tried all the methods but suggested on these, and other, forums. That took many cooked roms.

I would like to try adding my CABs and registry mods into the ROM. That will take many more cooked ROMs. I have concluded that cooking 150 to 200 is reasonable if you're going to customize and tweeks.

I am SOOOO thankful to the people who created the kitchens. They have made this device so much more useable and operational. The manufacturers don't understand that cusomizability is important. Look at how many people change simple things like today screens!
