dcd 3.0.1 - Phone Wakes Itself Up
Hi, I am running dcd 3.0.1, and it's been great. One major problem I've been having, and I suspect this has been reducing my average battery life by at least 10%, is that the phone would wake itself up from standby out of nowhere. I don't know what's causing this, but this would happen intermittently and randomly.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I don't know if this problem has already been reported and if there's already a fix for it, but I couldn't find this anywhere. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I have been using the same rom for about a week and it wakes itself up randomly. I thought it was a failed incoming call or message but appears to be the phone waking up to connect to data possibly?

No, my data connection is usually on anyway. I don't see what would cause it to wake up out of nowhere, but I am absolutely convinced it's the ROM, since the official Sprint 3.35 never did this.
I am going to give no2chem's ROM a try when I get home and see if that alleviates the problem.

The problem is that the newest rom doesn't have the Key Lock on by default. You'll want to go to Settings, System, Key Lock, and Lock All Buttons except Power Button.
Problem solved...hopefully.

Over xda-developers dcd was talking about this and that he inadvertently included it in 3.0.1. So just change the setting as posted above and it will solve the problem. It did for me.

I was aware of the Key Lock setting, and I changed that already a while back. The problem is, the phone would wake up all on its own without pressing any keys. I could put the phone on standby, leave it alone on the table, and within 2-60 seconds the phone will wake itself up.

I have the same problem, but I'm using the stock rom (latest).
So it might not be a specific issue with DCD's rom.

I have the same problem as well using stock ROM and the phone just randomly wakes up out of now where. no pattern to it or anything
