Can't get olipro 2.40

nope still can't get the 2.40, i tried the sd card method and it starts but then switches to the BL spl 1.20 olipro and stays there forever. I took it to the sprint store and they told me they can't upgrade it there, i have to do it online. So I guess i'm stuck with 2.17 and no gps. I thought about accidently spilling water in my phone, but thought it wasn'ty worth the hassle just to get gps. Thanks for ur help ppc_noob, i tipped ur scales. If u ever come across a fix can u PM me or or repost in this thread(if it doesn't get too buried)

try relock on the bootloader then if you can get back to stock, try flashing 3.35

or the leaked rOM which required stock bootloader (i looked it up)

thanks for all ur help, but i can't get the phone to relock. I get the same error 260. U've been a big help thanks a lot, and i tipped ur scales again.

that's a very persistant error you have there... have you tried all that stuff gguru suggested in that thread? maybe try on a different computer? did you say you were running Vista or XP? if Vista, it's highly recommended to try on XP machine.

That sucks bro. I went for a week trying to figure the same thing out for hours per night. I eventually got it to work somehow, but I cant remember what exactly worked since I tried some many things and times. I did save this link in my browser, so maybe it can help you. I relocked it and flashed the stock rom, which I tried that many times too with no luck.

Read this and see if it helps. Good luck.

My home computer is vista and my job computer is extremeley old. They still have us on windows 2000. I tried it all. I think i'm going to wait a week or 2 and try again. thanks for all your help

Even though I'm using sprint I treid all of those steps just with sprint and not verizon, still same error. thanks for the help though
