Rom Upgrades???

thats cool.. i downloaded the dcd rom off there website and i seen something about kitchen and all these steps i need to go thru... i got a little confused.... I know a lot of these steps have to do if you flash with the new sprint rom and then i guess change the radio to alltel....
Can you give me an idea of what you did on your ALLTEL version to get it to work and any problems you ran into...???
like what software do i need and what steps do i need to follow to get it all functional on my phone which is an Alltel version.
