Mine is turning on while in "sleep/standby".

IT IS NOT A SIGNAL ISSUE, YOU CAN TURN OFF THE PHONE FEATURES (BY HOLDING THE RED/HANGUP BUTTON) AND IT STILL DOES IT.

I even did a factory install (by reseting with the 2 softmenu buttons pressed) and it still does it.

Tried with the MSD out, in case there was any software there causing it and it is still doing it.


This is driving me crazy..


BTW... sometimes it opens Windows Media.. hmmm

My phone never wakes up randomly, I have timesync enabled. What I believe is causing this problem is email synchronization, very briefly I once enabled my email to sync wirelessly, and every 15 minutes my phone would wake up and initiate a data connection. Try disabling automatic email synchronization, I bet this solves your problems.

I don't have auto email sync. I do it manually every time, so nope...that's not it. Nobody posting in this thread about having this problem is crazy or technological deficient, it happens. The phone just comes out of sleep for no apparent reason.

My phone just did this on the way to work, and I called my wife like 3 times. It was off when I put it in my holster - I know that for a fact - and it had to have been off for about 15 minutes into my drive. Then all of a sudden it "wakes up" and of course the call button leans up against the seat belt buckle and bam, mystery calls.

FWIW, I had the same problem.

I just use S2U2, now.
Problem solved.
