Re: Microsft Silverlight!

No, the silverlight thing is an unrelated issue. I know how to read requirements. I just quickly browsed to see what silverlight was, didnt really 'look' for firefox/linux support. (as i said, i wouldnt use it anyway, unless i absolutely HAD to)

Show us on the doll where Microsoft touched you.

As others have said, Silverlight is MS's newish alternative to Flash. It hasn't caught on yet and there's no guarantee that it ever will, but they are going to keep pushing it. Even MS isn't sold on it for Windows Mobile yet though judging by the fact that they just licensed the Adobe Flash Lite 3.x engines for WM.

Silverlight does work with firefox

And MLB.tv uses it, and I must say I'm more impressed than I thought I would be

Beat me to it!

Tangentially, does anybody know of a way to listen to MLB.com radio (the game broadcasts specifically) on WM6x?

It will be used more once the olympics come around. NBC is having microsoft broadcast the olympics online using silverlight. I suspect a lot of ppl will dl it then.
