Splash Screen numbers meanings

I have searched, and can't find what I am looking for. I am attempting to do the upgrade for my Alltel 6800. I have had much dificulty with this upgrade. I was just wondering exactly what the numbers in the lower right corner of the splash screen mean. Mine are as follows:

R 1.32.00
D 3.35

Is R the radio version or the ROM version? And what about the D? Really just curious. I finally got the Sprint official to run, and am now attempting to run DCD's kitchen to install the Alltel stuff. I hope this works this time.

I'm pretty sure that the R is the radio (firmware) version with the D being the ROM version. Btw, unless you update your radio, 3.35 is not going to boot.

Yeah, I've been trying all day to upgrade my radio to 3.35 to no avail. So, I went back to 3.27 from drizzle. I've tried doing the sprint update and running a custom rom, but nothing worked. The sprint rom kept installing radio 1.32.00. Kind of pissing me off. Oh well, when it's a little easier, I'll give it a go again.

This may or may not help, but have you tried to flash with your phone in bootloader mode, instead of while it's connected via ActiveSync?
