DCD Flashing issue

Hello,

I flashed the latest DCD kitchen onto my verizon 6800. I have an issue. My phone software cannot read my battery. it cannot read my mugan battary or my HTC battery. When I try and flash the phone it says that the battery is below 50 percent. Basically it is giving it a false reading. Is there any way to over ride this issue?

Re: DCD Flashing issue

I assume you flashed to the latest sprint rom to get the 3.35 update & THEN flashed to DCD?

Re: DCD Flashing issue

Just to be thorough, you flashed the new sprint ROM, let it boot JUST to the screen calibration screen, then flashed to DCD's ROM, THEN once it came up to the htc splash screen, you removed the battery, put it back in & immediately hard reset to reset the partition table for the new ROM? That's the method I've seen come directly from DCD & NO2 I believe.

Re: DCD Flashing issue

I went from my stock verizon rom. I unlocked the phone and upgraded to the latest bootloader. I flashed to the sprint rom. It came to the tap to start screen. I ran the uploader for no2 5058. I loaded the firmware on it and it worked great. (battery worked on that one). I then decided to go to dcd's firmware since I couldnt get mms to work with it. I flashed to dcd's firmware and have not been having problems. Then I noticed the battery was not being read today. I am not sure if it did before or not. I never removed a battery and it worked fine with no2's. Maybe if I hard reset it will find the battery again?

Re: DCD Flashing issue

I am hard resetting now to see if it detects the battery. If it doesnt I think I am going to need a modified writer that doesnt check for the battery.
