How do I backup my Rom?

I have my phone freshly flashed with my favorite software installed. How can I make a copy of it, so I can flash it back configured exactly like I want it? I just get tired of installing this and that, or forgetting something.

Can I do it?

Buy and use Sprite Backup or SPB Backup

that will "image" the phone? Is one or the other better, or have any issues?

They won't "image" the phone, but rather have a full backup. You will need to reflash the ROM you have backed up in order for it to function properly.
