WM 6.1 - Why Are Text Messages Getting Deleted?

yesterday i installed VetVito's essentially "stock" ROM with WM 6.1

i though the threaded texting was working well, but then noticed that my threads were sometimes getting deleted....sometimes the first message would remain, but the rest of the messages of the thread would get deleted

i believe this was happening after a soft reset, but it didn't happen every time

anyone else experience this?...anything i can do to make sure the complete threads are kept until i want them deleted?
