I have two phones to flash. I chose my wifes since she was nagging me about wanting the programs I had on mine. Everything installed fine, except I picked to much stuff and her battery life started suffering. I went back to the kitchen and slimmed things down.

The problem is that every rom I build from this kitchen now has problems with programs like schapps advanced config, Wififofum, live search, and a few others. The error is on the device stating either the certificate is invalid or it cannot find the location. Even if I don't build with them and manually install from cabs. I updated her phone to the stock rom 3.35 and installed olipro 2.40 before I did the first cooked rom. I have tried the roms on my phone also and I have the same problem now but only with these roms. If I go back to the stock everything works. I have done the hard resets. I have tried both WM6 rom build and WM6.1 build. I have completely removed the kitchen and reinstalled and still have the same issue. If anyone can give me an idea as to why this is happening, I would greatly appreciate it.

P.S.
If no one has a solution to this issue, could someone tell me how to get Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 working on the stock rom. One of the reasons I am trying to cook this is to get that program. I have the program as a cab. It installs ok with no errors but it doesn't work right. I press the voice button and the mic icon shows but no response to my commands with or without bluetooth (I have the bluetooth fix cab also but doesn't help). I could manually install the other programs if I could get MS VC 1.6 working.

Thank you for any help on the main issue or the sub-issue.
I've experienced the same problems you have. I couldn't get Yahoo Go to work in addition to a couple others. I took the OEM's from this kitchen to DCD's just to get the best of both worlds. Its still an awesome kitchen.

@ RobDFW and toolow2:

are you both adding the .NET to your builds? lots of programs now require that to run and will give that type of error when its not there. also, it could be a security issue not allowing them to install- you could try the Unlock Phone security hacks in this thread here:

its the very first one listed in first post.

I think it would save a lot of questions if the kitchen chefs were to add .NET as a requirement to the option.xml files of the OEM packages that need it.

Thank you for the info. Adding the .net fixed the problem. I think that should definitely be required in the rom. I can see no reason to not have it in there. If you want a WM device to run the software available, you have to have the basics of the the OS available. I just figured it was fluff or an upgrade since it was optional in the kitchen. I didn't realize that it was the core .net package.

Sorry I have taken so long to let you know that your tip was correct.
