Oh geez! I threw the thread off topic!

Just a quick question: is there a way to put the .nb image files for the bootscreen manually into the .nbh file? I ask because
1) the kitchen can do this automatically
2) there is a myriad of tools in the kitchen
3) I can't get no2chem's 5059 basekit to create a ROM, even with default settings checked
4) I am very pressed for time to customize my ROM, so even if this was working for me, it would be a half-*** job on my part.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could point me in the direction on which tool to use to insert the .nb image into my ROM manually.

@Jeff, please just relax for a week. The program has been out for 2.5 days. Hop onto the IRC channel and someone in there (probably NexVision, see my sig) is bound to be able to assist you. If not, it seems like you've already gotten plenty of offers to get this working.
