Any chance we could get a version of this that actually works behind a proxy and/or firewall? Why does this need to log into anything anyway?

The purpose of having a kitchen built ROM is to having everything already in the ROM. Of course, you will need this option if you do not have OEMs for all of your applications.

I don't recall seeing this discussed before. One of the reasons I was going to try UC was so that I could install CABs to the Storage Card automatically. Is there an option in the kitchen or in an OEM to tell an app to install to the Storage Card?

Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19199 (Build 19199.1.0.0)

Can someone explain how to install the 5059 fixed basekit in the kitchen? I placed the 5059 rar file in the kitchen and then copied the text of the 5054 rom in the projects folder renaming it 5059 and substituting the name of the file it points to as the basekit 5059-fixed.rar. When i run buildos it says it can't open the basekit 5059-fixed.rar. So what am I doing wrong??

Nevermind...got it...there has to be a space before and after the hyphen in the basekit file name when pointing to it with the 'projects' text file.

It has been my experience that UC auto installs to the device. Not sure if there is a way to have the default install location install to the SD card.

I'm fairly sure that there is no way to use UC to install to the storage card. Autorun just doesn't work that way to my knowledge. Not sure about the other autoinstall methods. You might want to check out Tiermann's Autoinstall. I know I recently saw one other one as well, but can't remember what it was called or who made it.

There is currently no conventional method of auto installing to a storage card... yet... as with everything else about our phones i'm sure a way will be discovered... but none have been found yet.

Put me down as one that would like to either A) have a firewall setting or B) bypass logging in.
