Unhappy Official Sprint ROM 3.35.651.2 RAM and GPS issues!

I'm sure someone else has already experiences this.

I have just upgraded to the new ROM as per the instructions in the sticky without a hitch. Not even any errors when flashing. Everything looks good.

I have two major issues:

#1 I cannot get the GPS to prime per the instructions using GPSViewer. It won't find any satellites no matter how long I wait. I tried toggling the Location Off and then back On. Anything else I could try?

#2 The second issue is just strange. I can only see 46.98 of my Memory. I had 64MB before I flashed. I was also wondering if anyone on this forum had upgraded their RAM to 128mb with success? I saw a site that offers this service, but I can't seem to find it now. Anyone know what the site is?

Thanks for your help with this issues,

Glizitch

Re: Official Sprint ROM 3.35.651.2 RAM and GPS issues!

Well Hello World!

I see why no one is answering my post. I've always had 48MB of RAM free. Don't I look dumb, and on my first post. sheesh. I've been digging in forums all day working on the GPS. I am thinking that maybe I should use the dcd rom flashed over the new official sprint. Anyone find specific instructions for cooking that ROM or could you provide them here? While I am new to the wonderful world of flashing. I do pickup quite fast and I am a network admin by occupation.

Yes you still have 64mb of ram, but you have to subtract the ammount that the operating system uses and the 46.98 is what you have left. Go to start>settings>system>device info>hardware and see for yourself
