Additional Noob question regarding tri color screen

OK I installed Olipro to unlock my rom and I now have the tri color screen but I cant get activesync to communicate with the phone what do I do? Do I hard reset? I know it is not bricked but Im just trying to figure out the next step. Sorry for the Noob questions.

You don't provide alot of info but during the unlock process at one point you have to disconnect the usb cable and then reconnect. I assume you did that? You should be able to start the Rom Update Utility (RUU) and it will start the flash. There is a confusing step in the RUU that advises to establish an active sync connection when in fact you don't. Just proceed thru the steps and it should flash OK. There are no hard resets needed.
