This is driving me nuts as well. It has started happening so much that it's just impossible to type a message. Both missing keys and repeats. I'm guessing it's a hardware issue, but I really don't know. I've had my Mogul for about 8 months. What is the best on-screen keyboard to use?

I had this same issue. I flashed my ROM repeatedly and nothing. I took it in a swapped it for a new one at Sprint.

I have the same darn space bar issue. Only recently, within the last two weeks has it been acting up. Most other buttons will do double or triple entry. Im running the sprint 3.35 radio and rom with olipro 2.4 never flash a non stock rom. It's a conspiracy I tell you!

Yes, I tried this and, no it did not fix the problem. I am seriously considering throwing this phone away and switching to another brand of phone and/or wireless network. The lack of responsiveness by HTC and Sprint has been extremely frustrating.

What can we do to get more focus on this issue?

I used that a while back and it seemed to have fixed the issue. However, within the last week, I am starting to have this same problem happening again. It seems this is a software issue with the latest ROM versus a hardware issue, but still, how do we fix this?!

Hopefully a new official ROM will be out soon at HTC and this will be resolved!

i thought i remember reading somewhere the "key fix" is just an older driver for the keyboard... so the newer driver is apparently a piece of sh1te

I also tried the fix posted all over geeks and it did not fix my problem HTC needs resolve this... i am so fustraded i have lost the willing to txt because of this issue ....

I took mine into Sprint and as long as you have insurance or you are still under the 1 year warranty, then they will swap the phone out.
