Re: Custom Sprint ROM with 3.35/WM6.1?
I tried DCD's first but it was too stripped and had some memory issues. Did VetVito's next and love it. Very fast with lots of free RAM.

How much free RAM are we talking about?

Re: Custom Sprint ROM with 3.35/WM6.1?
When I compared, apples to apples between VetVito's bare-boned ROM and a similarly configure ROM built by DCDs, again marvelous kitchen, the VetVito ROM had 900k more (available) program memory.
47.88 (VetVito), vs. 46.98 (DCD) With the same amount of in use memory reported, this translated into 900k more Free memory. 24.36 (VetVito) vs. 23.46 (DCDs) Now, most people aren't going to work with a stripped-down ROM. I like to start out this way ... because I am strange. I only mention this, because you obviously can't expect this amount of available RAM if you install one of VetVito's loaded-up ROMs with his tweaked-up home/desktop configurations. |
