Re: Battery 3.35 Rom

Try running your battery all the way out, then charge it full.. That should 'reset' the battery meter.

It's better for overall battery life to charge LIP batteries before they get too low... (I rarely let mine go below 40-50) but this frequent recharging throws the meter off a bit. It's recommended that they be fully discharged every 30 power cycles or so. (full power cycles, so every 60 recharges if you were to charge at 50%.)

Hope this's helpful.

Re: Battery 3.35 Rom

I never let mine get below 70% for all day use. Today I left with full charge from alnight charge as I always have> I looked at battery before I made a call and was shocked to see it so low. I turned off phone and back on and guess what? its back to 90% which is about what is every day at that time. And the battery held the rest of the day.

Re: Battery 3.35 Rom

I have something strange happening also...
My battery says it is 100% full but when I unplug it from the charger it
automatically does a soft reset and turns off and on continuosly until I
plug it back up. It worked fine for a couple of days and this started this
afternoon.

Re: Battery 3.35 Rom

mine's pretty much unchanged. A bit faster draw when I play with GPS all day (it's really for work, I swear!)

PS - yes, you can read the gps serial data stream in mortscript. Yes, it is crispy goodness. Mmmmm.

Re: Battery 3.35 Rom

Remember to check all your power management settings, turn off beams, and apply any battery reg hacks as necessary.

That said, I noticed yesterday as I played with the GPS that it drained my battery a lot more than usual, but otherwise, things seem about on par with 2.17.
